Bresser is a german manufacturer of premium quality optics that was founded in 1957 by Josef Bresser.
In fact, Bresser is one of the leading manufacturers of high quality optics not only in Germany but in the world as well.
The best manufacturers of high quality optics in Germany are Bresser, Zeiss, Braun, Leica, Steiner, Minox.
Of course, Leica, Zeiss or Minox are high class binoculars and very expensive optical instruments.
Bresser is a medium class brand that can be bought at a reasonable price and still delivers high quality optics.
Bresser offers both cheap optics with BK-7 prism and high quality optics with BAK-4 prism.
In short, German optics has made a name in the world and if you hold binoculars in your hands from any manufacturer mentioned above rest assured you hold optics of premium quality.
While material binoculars are made of may differ a lot from brand to brand you can hardly see such a difference when it comes to image quality produced by German binoculars.
I have bresser binoculars at my home and know what Bresser quality means.
Though some people sometimes complain about Bresser binoculars, even expensive ones, such as Bresser National Geographic.
In my opinion, there is no way that Bresser binoculars produce low quality binoculars.
I’m sure those people simply don’t know how to adjust the focus and diopter mechanism to get clear image when looking through binoculars.
The positive side of Bresser optics is that the company manufactures both high class binoculars that are expensive and medium class binoculars that you can buy for under $100.
Bresser expanded its activity especially in 1979 when Rolf Bresser, Josef’s son took leadership of the company and since then Bresser has become one of the established and leading manufacturers of high quality optics in the industry.
Thanks to close relations between Bresser and Explore Scientific LLC they started to expand their brands to reach new markets worldwide.
This collaboration made their positions even stronger in the industry.
At the time Bresser offered a wide range of binoculars worldwide, such as Bresser Montana binoculars, Bresser National Geographic, Bresser Luchs Binoculars, Bresser Pirsch Binoculars, Bresser Condor Binoculars, Bresser Cobra Binoculars, Bresser Nautic Binoculars (Marine Binoculars), Bresser Binocom Binoculars (Marine Binoculars), Bresser Hunter Binoculars, Bresser Junior Binoculars, Bresser Alpen binoculars, Bresser Everest Series, Bresser C-Series.
