Hello Adam. I have binoculars like those on the left on recommended binoculars image. I didn’t buy them my father did and i remember them from when i was a kid.

I don’t know the magnification level, but the image is clear and it doesn’t hurt your eyes. Don’t take my word for it, but i think they are Nikon or Cannon.

When i was a kid, i observed the mountains with these binoculars. Now they have built apartments and roads in front of my house so i can’t do that anymore.

I like the idea of buying high power binoculars and observe the stars. I saw quite a lot of films where they do that so why not do it myself one day?!

I took a sneak peak on your “what binoculars to avoid” article. I might take a better look at it if i am to ever buy binoculars. Cheers.
